Personal Data
Tilde Paint doesn't track you or sell your data.
Third-Party Services
Tilde Paint doesn't itself send any information to a server ever. It runs client-side only, entirely in your browser.
However, it may be hosted on a third party site:
- For example, this page should be hosted on Github pages. As such, Github's Privacy Policy applies.
- Since this project is open source, it may be hosted almost anywhere, but I can only guarantee that this privacy policy applies to the version hosted at https://lunaspeckles.github.io/tildepaint, or subdomains thereof.
- If you are not accessing this page from https://lunaspeckles.github.io/tildepaint, you should not trust it, unless you trust the domain that is hosting it instead.
Local Storage
Tilde Paint uses local storage to save your work in progress.
You can view and delete stored images with File > Manage Storage.
Think of this as a backup, in case you close the tab by accident or your computer crashes. Don't rely on it as your only backup.
There is currently no option to prevent the app from saving a backup, however you can use your browser's private browsing mode to prevent the data from being persisted.
If the URL starts with https://lunaspeckles.github.io/tildepaint/#local:, it's a local session, private to you.
